Pricing Explained

Nox offers a fully managed rental solution, offering our partners peace of mind that their properties are being presented in the best possible manner, 365 days a year.

In order to achieve our market-leading service, we have a range of pricing schedules as follows. Please get in touch with our Portfolio Development team to discuss any pricing queries you ay have.

Holiday rental with view of the pool and ocean

Rental and Concierge Fees: 20% (VAT incl)

Service inclusions: All rental related activity including the following:
  • Professional photography, videos and content management across all platforms
  • Distribution and pricing management
  • Guest, online and agency enquiry management and administration
  • Pre-arrival and post-departure inspections
  • 24/7 guest concierge services
  • Management of guest feedback, complaints and queries

Billing is done monthly and calculated on each rental. The fee is charged on the ‘nett’ rate, after any third party distribution costs.

Property Management and Administration Fees

Fee schedule:
  • 1 or 2 bedrooms: R1,500 per month
  • 3 or 4 bedrooms: R1,750 per month
  • 5 or 6 bedrooms: R2,000 per month
  • 7 + bedrooms: R2,250 per month
Service inclusions:
  • Administrative Support to suppliers, 3rd party payments to municipalities and ad hoc financial performance management
  • Performance reporting on revenue
  • Quality and standards control – inventory management, preventative maintenance inspections
  • Consulting service for property improvements and general project management
  • Credit card merchant fees and online distribution costs
  • Management and supervision of owner-employed housekeepers
  • Hospitality items – tea, coffee, wine, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, guest welcome packs

Housekeeping and Laundering Fees by Property Size

Inclusions:
  • Labour 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
  • All labour relations, training, disciplinaries and performance management
  • Staff uniforms and aprons
  • Employee leave management
  • Cleaning and chemicals; washing powder, kitchen clothes and sponges
  •  Charlotte Rhys guest toiletries and room sprays
  • Toilet paper

Exclusions:
  • External laundering; charged when there is a same-day departure/arrival or when there are guests in-house and require privacy
  • Sunday and public holiday overtime where required to clean for a departure arrival
  • First month’s housekeeping starter pack for new properties will be billed on a per item basis

"Owner Booking" guest relation services: R750 VAT incl

Inclusions:
  • Pre-arrival administration and collection of guest details
  • Arrival planning – housekeeping preparation and welcome pack
  • Meet and greet at the property
  • 24/7 concierge services
  • Departure inspection

The above fee is only charged where our partners are deriving income from the booking. Partner personal use of the property is not charged.

Nox works on a performance fee basis. From the onset, we aim to provide our partners with a realistic indication of the revenues that can be achieved through the property

Nox is required to registr our Partners for specialist insurance cover for guests screening, breakages and damages. This is underwritten by Superhog and there is an annual fee of R450 per peroperty which is charged in June.
